A professional painter for the past twenty-seven years, dedicated to the creation of art of the highest quality and integrity, whose work is represented in collections both private and public throughout Canada. Exhibited regionally, nationally and internationally and recognized for artistic achievement and contributions to the greater community by way of an Honourary Doctorate from the University of New Brunswick and the Canada 125 Commemorative Medal.
In the opening remarks of the recent exhibition A Prayer for the Dead, distinguished Canadian artist Dr. Alex Colville described the show as “a leading achievement of enormous significance a tectonic shift in the world of culture”. The humanitarian theme of this exhibition was the principal factor in the awarding of the 1997 New Brunswick Red Cross Humanitarian Award.
